  • 2 cups whole milk (or half-and-half for extra richness)
  • 3 eggs
  • ยฝ cup brown sugar
  • ยผ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ยผ tsp salt

a small plate of cubed banana bread, a small plate of mashed bananas, a small plate of whole milk, a small plate of eggs, a small plate of brown sugar, a small plate of granulated sugar, a small plate of vanilla extract, a small plate of cinnamon, a small plate of salt, and a small plate of melted butter

Pro Tips

  1. Use slightly stale banana breadโ€”it soaks up the custard better!
  2. Donโ€™t skip the resting timeโ€”let the bread soak in the custard for extra flavor.
  3. Bake until golden brownโ€”the center should be set but still soft.
  4. For extra indulgence, add chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
  5. Serve warm with caramel sauce or ice cream for the best experience!
