Homemade Tiramisu Coffee Creamer

Millie Pham

Who else loves the flavors of tiramisu but doesn’t always have the time to make the full dessert?

This Tiramisu Coffee Creamer brings those rich, creamy, and coffee-kissed flavors straight to your morning cup.

It’s quick to whip up, super simple, and will make you feel fancy with every sip. Plus, it’s free of weird preservatives, and you can tweak it to fit your taste.

My family absolutely adores this, and I promise yours will too—especially if you’re a coffee lover! Let’s make your mornings sweeter!

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk (or any milk you like)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp instant espresso powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional, but gives it a tiramisu twist!)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt

Pro Tips

  1. Dissolve the espresso fully: To avoid grainy bits, mix the espresso powder with a little warm milk before combining it with the other ingredients.
  2. Go easy on the almond extract: A little goes a long way! Start small and adjust to your taste.
  3. For a frothy finish: Give the creamer a good shake before using for an extra creamy texture.
  4. Make it dairy-free: Swap the heavy cream and milk for coconut milk or oat milk—so good!
  5. Double up: This stores well in the fridge, so feel free to make a bigger batch.

Tools You’ll Need

  • Small saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mason jar or bottle for storage

Substitutions and Variations

  • Milk: Use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk to make it dairy-free.
  • Espresso powder: Swap with strong instant coffee granules if needed.
  • Sweetness: Use maple syrup, honey, or sugar in place of condensed milk. Adjust to taste.
  • Flavor twist: Add a tiny splash of rum extract for a true tiramisu vibe!

Make-Ahead Tips

This creamer can be made up to a week in advance! Just store it in a clean, airtight jar in the fridge and shake well before using.

Instructions

1. Warm the milk and cream

In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sweetened condensed milk. Warm over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it’s steamy but not boiling.
