1. Spicy Dragonfruit

I was pretty curious about this one because it’s supposed to mix sweet and spicy flavours, which is a trend I’ve seen popping up lately.

I usually enjoy a good sweet and spicy combo, like sweet chilli heat Doritos or hot honey sauce, but I wasn’t sure how it would work in a drink.

So, I took a sip, and wow, it really did burn the back of my throat!

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be this spicy. Most North American companies tend to go easy on the spice, but this drink really packs a punch.

The dragonfruit flavour is there, and it’s pretty good, but the sweetness is tamer than usual. It kind of reminded me of eating watermelon with chilli powder on it—you get that refreshing taste initially, but then the spice kicks in hard.

It’s interesting, but I’m not sure if it works well together.

I like my drinks to be refreshing, and this one just isn’t. It’s more of a burning experience than a refreshing one.

I’m a big fan of spicy foods, but this drink just didn’t do it for me. The burning sensation was too intense, and it overshadowed the sweetness.

I’ll give it a 4/5 for the flavour and the mild sweetness, but if you’re not used to spicy drinks, this might not be for you.

This drink is interesting, I think, but not something I’d go for regularly.

So, if you’re feeling adventurous and want to try something different, give the Spicy Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher a shot.

But if you’re like me and prefer your drinks to be more on the refreshing side, you might want to stick with the regular refreshers.

2. Spicy Pineapple

This one really caught my attention because pineapple and spice are a match made in heaven. Think about it – pineapple with a sprinkle of chili powder is a classic combo, right?

So, I was pretty excited to give this one a try.

When I first got the drink, I was impressed by how much chilli powder they used.

The drink had a vibrant red hue, which immediately told me it was going to be spicy. I took a sip, and wow, it was like a flavor explosion.

The pineapple hits you first with its sweet and tangy taste, and then, just a few seconds later, the heat kicks in. It’s a perfect balance – not too overwhelming, but definitely noticeable.

What I loved most about this drink was how well the flavors blended together. It reminded me of a spicy pineapple margarita, just without the tequila.

The chunks of pineapple in the drink were a nice touch too, adding a bit of texture and extra flavor. It felt like a tropical vacation in a cup.

If you’re worried about the heat, don’t be. Yes, it’s spicy, but it’s not the kind of heat that will make you break out in a sweat.

It’s more of a pleasant tingle that lingers in the back of your throat. It’s the kind of spice that makes you want to take another sip.

Overall, the Spicy Pineapple is my favorite of the new spicy drinks from Starbucks.

It’s refreshing, flavorful, and has just the right amount of kick. Perfect for a hot summer day. If you enjoy a little spice in your life, you should definitely give this one a try.

3. Spicy Strawberry

When you first look at it, you can see the chilli powder mixed in with the fruit, which is a pretty cool sight. It’s like they’re not messing around with the spice.

First sip, and wow, it’s definitely different. The sweetness of the strawberries hits you first, and then the spice sneaks up on you.

It’s not too intense, just a nice little kick lingering in your throat. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first, but I couldn’t stop drinking it, so I guess that’s a good sign!

After giving it a good stir, the flavors balanced out even more.

The lemonade adds a refreshing tartness that pairs well with the sweet strawberries and the subtle heat.

It’s a strange combo, but it works. I’m still on the fence about the spice, but the overall taste is pretty refreshing.

If you’re curious about trying something new and don’t mind a bit of heat, give the Spicy Strawberry Lemonade Refresher a shot.

It’s a unique twist on the classic strawberry lemonade, and you might just find yourself enjoying it. Let me know if you’ve tried it and what you think!

4. Spicy Cream Cold Foam

I got an iced shaken espresso with the spicy cold foam on top. The cold foam is their usual vanilla flavour but with a spicy three-pepper blend mixed in.

You can actually see the little bits of pepper in the foam, which is pretty cool.

Taking the first sip, you get the smooth, creamy cold foam with a hint of vanilla. Then, the spice kicks in.

It’s not overwhelming, just a nice little kick that adds some excitement to your drink. It’s a bit like having a spicy snack with your coffee.

I’ve seen some people wonder why Starbucks would make a spicy cold foam, but honestly, I think it’s a fun twist. If you like a bit of spice, you’ll probably enjoy this.

Overall, I’m a fan. The spice isn’t too strong, and it pairs well with the coffee. It’s definitely something different and worth trying if you’re curious.
