S’mores Protein Shake (with Sugar-Free Marshmallows)

Millie Pham

If you love s’mores but want a healthier twist, this S’mores Protein Shake is for you! It’s thick, chocolatey, and packed with all the classic campfire flavors—but with no added sugar and extra protein!

We’re using sugar-free marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, and rich chocolate protein powder to make a shake that tastes like dessert but fuels your body.

Let’s blend it up!

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • ½ frozen banana (for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for deep chocolate flavor)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp crushed sugar-free graham crackers (plus extra for the rim)
  • 3 sugar-free marshmallows (to blend)
  • ½ cup ice cubes

For Toppings (Optional but Delicious!):

  • Sugar-free whipped cream
  • 2 sugar-free marshmallows (to toast on top!)
  • Drizzle of melted sugar-free chocolate

Pro Tips

  1. Use frozen banana! It makes the shake extra thick and creamy.
  2. Want it even thicker? Add ½ cup Greek yogurt or more ice.
  3. Make it dairy-free! Use almond, oat, or coconut milk.
  4. No banana? Swap it for ½ cup frozen cauliflower or extra ice.
  5. Want a real toasted marshmallow taste? Toast your sugar-free marshmallows with a lighter or broiler before adding them on top!

Tools You’ll Need

  • Blender
  • Tall glass
  • Spoon for drizzling chocolate
  • Small kitchen torch (for toasting marshmallows, optional)

Substitutions & Variations

  • No protein powder? Use ½ cup Greek yogurt for a protein boost.
  • Want it sweeter? Add ½ tbsp sugar-free sweetener or a Medjool date.
  • More indulgent? Blend in a piece of sugar-free chocolate for extra richness!
