Coconut Whipped Coffee (Dalgona Coffee)

The Coconut Whipped Coffee is one of my go-to treats. I use dairy-free cream and oat milk in this recipe to keep it light.

I also add cocoa powder on top to give it a rich, chocolatey finish.

Coconut Whipped Coffee Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 30 ml non-dairy cream
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oat milk
  • Ice cubes
  • 3/4 cup milk (or coconut water as an alternative)
  • Cocoa powder (for garnish)

Coconut Whipped Coffee Recipe Instructions:

Prepare the Whipped Coffee Mixture:

Start by grabbing a mixing bowl and adding:

  • 1 tablespoon of instant coffee
  • 30 ml of non-dairy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oat milk.

Then, whip the mixture with a hand mixer or a whisk until it becomes light and fluffy and forms stiff peaks. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.

Add Ice Cubes, Milk or Coconut Water to Your Glass

Start by filling a glass with ice cubes.

Next, pour 3/4 cup of milk over the ice. You can use coconut water instead if you want a lighter, tropical twist.

Both options are delicious and refreshing.

Top with Whipped Coffee:

Take a spoon and gently place the whipped coffee mixture on top of the milk or coconut water.

This fluffy layer will sit beautifully on the surface, making your drink look as good as it tastes. 

Garnish

Sprinkle a little cocoa powder on top for garnish.
